I’m 6’ and this sits super high even fully extended. Other than that it’s decentLike a lot of stuff manufactured in China, they struggle to adapt their designs to our anatomy. If your on the big or tall size, you'll find that the chest strap will need to be lowered way down. Easy adjustment though. Then you will notice that the padded areas are not adjustable. Fixed in place. So they end up a litter higher than you might like.Once on and adjusted for you, its does work fairly well! But you just might find that something in the bag or padding squeaks some as you move along.I dont know what, but it's a deff. Maybe it will break in.All in all, not bad. Possibly a little expensive for what you get, but it works.Bought this for a hiking trip to Lake Placid.PROS: Love the two water bottle holders and the pockets have a lot of room to hold things.CONS: Without anything in it, the bag is a little heavy, and it made my back sweat. It can be awkward trying to get items out of the pockets when the pack is on.All in all, I really like this.I like the fact that it can be worn as a backpack and a "fanny" pack, but it is bulky around the middle when the straps are removed.Missing clip. Useless.I got this as a lightweight alternative to a standard fanny pack because I have nerve issues with belts. This has suspenders so that I can leave the belt portion loose and let it suspend from the shoulder straps. It's very lightweight and not hot to wear in the humid summer around here, and the side pockets are great for carrying things like handkerchiefs, small flashlights, chapstick, and all those small items I always seem to need. The biggest flaw is that because it the belt is connected to suspenders, the large back pounch is basically unusable unless I have someone with me who can unzip it and get out whatever I need. Normally with a fanny pack, I can just swing the pack around to the front so that I can remove items. And in fact, I normally just wear the fanny pack so that the pack is in front. I can't do that with suspenders.Well, to be perfectly honest, I can wear the unit the wrong way around so that the back strap goes down my front and so that the fanny pack is in front. Unfortunately, when I do that, the back strap hits me at the base of the neck in an uncomfortable way so It's not the greatest. However, if I really load up the fanny pack, it pulls the back center strap down enough to make it more comfortable, but then I have the issue of the straps wanting to come off my shoulders so that doesn't really work out too well. If there was a center strap between the two shoulder straps that went across my chest when wearing it the "right way around" then even if I wore it backwards, the straps would stay in place better. The gist of all of this is that I like it because it doesn't aggravate my hip nerves the waya regular fanny pack would and I generally just use the two small side pockets. The large back fanny pack doesn't do much, although I put a few emergency items in it that I normally wouldn't need but like to have with me just in case. In an emergency, I will just have to take off the harness to access the fanny pack unless I'm walking with someone else who can do that for me.This isn't really a flaw of the design, I mean it's what you would expect from a fanny pack attached to suspenders. But if I had designed it, I think I would have placed the large pack in front. It wouldn't have been a "fanny pack" then however it would have been more user friendly (and I would have had the belt connector attach to the pack so that clasp would still be in front).Just a thought. Or opinion. In any case, this is certainly cooler to wear than even a light backpack or daypack and I can wear it all day without overheating so it's good in that respect.I use this for walking the dog. Lots of different ways to use this. It's perfect for what I need.
